Our Savior's Church & School mission: Making Disciples by Sharing the Healing Power of Christ's Love
Our Savior's Lutheran Church was planted to God's glory on Springfield's southwest edge in 1959. Located on the "frontier" of the state's capital city, Our Savior's Lutheran Church was a mission church with twin goals: to preach God's Word in an area poised for growth, and to establish a school as an ongoing ministry to instruct new generations in the Word and Christian faith.
Our Savior’s School (O.S.), was established in 1962 as a Christian day school as part of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Our Savior’s offers a quality education from preschool through 8th grade. Our Savior’s is recognized by the state of Illinois and also the National Lutheran Schools Association.
